Team Patch!

Hey guys, I recently decided to make a patch for our team, seeing as how we're now recognized by NTA, and this is what I've got:



The skull is designed to pay tribute to the Navy SEALs as well as Granbury High School.
The snake is a symbol of medicine and power in Native American culture, as well as our own.
Tantun Verum means " Only the Truth" in Latin. I found this fitting becasue due to the nature of our sport, truth is important, and also becasue that is how I want my team mates to be with me.
And last, we have our team name.

Give me your thought, suggestions etc.

Other than that it is cut and pasted together (literally...like, with glue) I am pleased.

Yeah, it is ghetto, but it will look ten times better when I have it stitched. Any improvements?

I touched it up a little i could redraw it at some point but i dont have time tonight

personally i would prefer just L.R.U. plus for you: less words= less price.

Hey guys, I need to know what you would consider adequate requirements to earn said patch? Also, I'll be waiting until next Monday for subission of the design, so speak now or forever hold your peace.

i have already outlined my suggested requirements to you, so i feel it pointless to state them again. if you forget what they are, ask me tommorrow at band.

wyat most of the time i think your ideas are stupid, but this is really bad ass! it would look great at the final stitched stage. which colors would you use though?

Will I be eligable for one of these or do I not meet the requirements

Nathan: I plan on either using black and white ( Black background, white lettering pictures), or green background and tan lettering and picture. When Tyler gives me the link, I'l probably go with what's cheaper.

Jarod: Yes, you would qualify for the patch, do to your leadership position.

However, for everyone else, this is how I've decided to allow you to qualify.
1. Pay $15 ( or price of patch), and you get it.
2. Must attend 4 games and 4 practices after I get my first patch. When this has happened, you get the patch for free.

Take your pick, but I can tell you right now that these will look bad a--!

Also, why did you use that shape for the patch? i usually see rectangle and square patches. does that shape mean something?

The shape is commonly used by special operations teams, and pays homage to the Native Americans ( shape of an arrowhead). Native American hunters are viewed by some to be the most careful, and skilled, "operators" of their time.

I really like it, it looks great and can't wait to get it! I also like the idea of the shape.

I have photoshop again and will make patch renderings! i will make this patch look bad ass. also will this be different from our team logo? because i need some help on what it should look like. i need some opinions and thoughts please.

ok here is my rendering.i think it will look pretty sweet base color green with tan stitching. or base color tan with black stitching.

its well thought out and has a good meaning, that above all makes it bad a##, sorry i could not attend the last op. work..... look forward to the next gathering...
