What do you guys think of Army of North Texas (ANT). My inspiration are these articles:

1. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A29414-2005Jan22.html
2. http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/archive/index.php/t-218.html
3. http://www.gnn.tv/articles/2273/Keeping_tabs_on_SOCOM

A relative high in the military told me about these guys. They are kinda like a real Rainbow six. They are tasked with finding and eliminating high ranking enemies of the U.S. Read some of the articles and tell me what you thonk. People in the Mil community may bet it when were on the field. I sort of makes a look like we know what were talking about. Just food for thought.

Of topic, but is anyone else having trouble accesing NTA as of 11/10 @ 9:30 pm?

Army of North Texas is nice, but it wouldn't hurt to add an adjective to the prefix, like "Cool Army of North Texas", but that's just an example. I could go either way (adj. or no), but ANT sounds cool. That Spec-Ops unit sounds tight! I would definitely be okay for emulating their choice of name. However, I feel it may be like having a USMC patch on your cammies that you put there even if you're not a veteran - Being a poser is uncool. Maybe we should tweak it a bit?

As for NTA, Rocket took the site down around 6 last night (11.10.2008) and it hasn't been back up since. He was talking about backing up all the SQL stuff for the site, and I'm not sure if he just didn't finish or if he hasn't had a chance to put it back online. Either way, it should be up by tonight.
