Choices For A Second Gun

Post by Sepultura779 on Sun Dec 21, 2008 5:51 pm

Copied and pasted from my recent post on NTA -

Alright, so I'm deciding to jump into the market for a good backup gun or possibly a new primary. As most of you know, I have an Echo MP5 RIS that is pretty slick, and has held up well for now. I'm looking for a step in the same direction or up, quality wise. The guns I had in mind are as follows:

ACM M500 Gas Shotgun, in 6mm
I've read a lot of good things about this gun, and considering the overkill Echo did to my velocity at their factory, would be great for <50ft engagements.
Classic Army M15A4
It's a CA.
JG Stubby Killer
I played around with my friend Wyat's CA CQB for a couple of games recently (Had some battery issues and ended up electrical taping a large 8.4v to his buffer tube w/o a stock....good times) and really dug it. I could get in close with the rifle, which felt good.
Echo 1 M4 RIS
Gotta love M4's with RIS systems.
Cyma M14
M14's are the shiz.

Those are the main rifles I'm looking at. My price range is around $0-$200 (The CA M4 is 265, but that extra money would be coming out of my pocket. I love getting things for my birthday. Very Happy ). If you have any suggestions, please post. Any help is greatly appreciated.

JG Stubby Killer for the WIN! I would really go for the stubby. However, Advanced Battlefield is selling his KWA M4 for $200 on NTA. The stubby seems, look, and shoots great! ( I don't really know this, but it does look cool). If I were you, I would go with an M4 variant. Try to fit in. Hope this helps, by the way, does it seem like you and I are the only ones that post on these forums?

I thought you were going to buy it sooner. Not a big deal. I'll find another way to get the dough.

Oh, and I'm not going to Fort Hood with your psycho ex-Marine uncle. Laughing

P.S. to all others - The past few posts are what happens when Wyat and I talk on the phone for 45 minutes after I get a new drum kit.

I like LRU. Lethal Response Unit. I think that was one of your best ideas. On a serious note, ( not that I wasn't serious about LRU) would you guys really be offended by something that incorporates my name? Such as Jamieson Security Specialists. JSS for short. Or we could make an acronym using all of our last names? I'll do some brainstorming.

That would work, save for the fact that two of our recruits live next to or go to school with me; therefore, I am team leader. Our new name is as follows: Sean Delveaux's Super Sweet Airsoft Squad That Can Beat TEF, TFR, SARS, Frontline, And UAL Even If They All Formed One Big Super-Team.

SDSSASTCBTEFTFRSARSFAUALEITAFOBST for short.

i dont think its a good idea that you include JUST your name in it. considering you dont own the team and it sounds retarded any way..
