I don't really like it. It looks like it might restrict movement when crawling or stalking. It might be good for CQB, but I don't really see the use. Care to explain?

You don't use it during combat....It's for when you're not fighting and need to use both hands. Climbing a tree, reloading a midcap, and I suppose you could make a good transition to pistol with it if you trained with it.

That could be a good use. However, you can get transition slings that can go onto your back for hands on activities. Looks like it might just take up room on your vest/ duty belt.
