Team Uniforms
There is an ongoing debate about the team uniforms here at LRU Forums, and it has boiled down to two final contenders: The Airman Battle Uniform (ABU) or standard MARPAT (Marine Pattern). Both patterns are digitized, with MARPAT being a digital-woodland uniform (primarily green) and ABU being a digital-tiger-stripe, utilizing the colors of ACU, another digital uniform, plus a greyish-blue color. I consider ABU the superior pattern, and I recently ordered and received an Airman Battle Uniform, and took several pictures to prove authenticity and showcase the pattern and uniform. I don't have lights or real photography equipment but I consider myself a decent shot (with a gun or camera! ) so here you are:
Bottom pants pockets, they're pretty low
Hidden pocket, inside coat. One on each side.
Reinforced crotch.
Pattern close-up

Re: Team Uniforms
Camera is fine, the background is a tan blanket I used because I thought it would be cleaner and look nicer than my blue carpet. The colors are all the same as ACU except with the addition of a greyish-blue, I think called, "Stale Blue" or "Pale Blue", something like that. Check your monitor as all the pictures look fine on mine; the only difference between these pics and the actual uniform in my closet is that when you see it in real life the uniform overall is "greyer", or more grey, but not by a significant amount.

Re: Team Uniforms
you should go lay down in the woods next practice and we have to find you
it would be fun

Re: Team Uniforms
I would be down for that. I'm itching to test the effectiveness of the pattern. No guns, just hide and seek with only me hiding. I would win every time.

Re: Team Uniforms
Sean, those uniforms seem awfully green and tan. Like multicam colors. Is that just the background, or is that the actual color? Thanks for posting the pics.

It is about as far from MC as colors get. I guess the pictures aren't conveying what they should. You guys must be blind as they're 1080p (hi-res), or maybe I made a poor background choice. If I would compare it to a pattern you guys would know of: think ACU, but a lot less white and a lot more grey, and a small amount of green.
Btw, guys: THE BACKGROUND IS A TAN BLANKET. THAT IS WHAT ALL THE TAN IS.

Re: Team Uniforms
I agree with Nathan. Lay them on the ground (outside) next yo your cookie cutter and old school woodland. This would offer the best picture of difference.

Re: Team Uniforms
You guys are ridiculous. "Lay them on the ground, we can't see, the pictures are fine but we just fail at vision". You've got to be kidding me. How about this?: There is no way in hell I am putting my brand new $100 uniform on the ground in my backyard, the very same ground that my two dogs piss and crap in all day. You guys are babies and I am going to let you cry. You asked for pics, and you got 13 good ones right there at the top. Go whine to someone else.
Edit - I apologize if that made me sound like a dick but come on, you guys.

Re: Team Uniforms
well since you dont want them to touch the ground, i dont see any reason why you wanted them for airsoft. if you are going to whine about laying your uniform outside for a few minutes and take pictures to show the uniforms effectiveness, than you might as well put the uniform in a glass case and hang them on your wall....

Re: Team Uniforms
Nathan,
You have not seen my backyard, and therefore you have made an understandable mistake. The following is neither an exaggeration nor a hyperbole - you cannot walk five feet into my yard without stepping is a pile of dog crap. My 2 dogs have peed everywhere in the yard as well, although that is not as visible. I'm not too keen on putting my regular clothes on top of dog poo either, if you're wondering. Your "point" is null and void seeing as I can't even remember the last time I went prone into a pile of crap in airsoft, and I have a feeling that goes for pretty much everyone else here.

Re: Team Uniforms
we want to see how effective they would be in the wooded areas considering it will be our team uniform. your pretty much the guinea pig in this situation. if it looks like it will work good, then we will use it, but if not we will use a different pattern. so yes it would be nice if you posted some pictures of the ABU in a wooded area proving that they work well enough to use
Re: Team Uniforms
Let me get this strait... they're being the whiny ones when all there doing is stating the fact that your pics suck. Im pretty sure they could go online and find the same pics. What there asking for is some pics that could be usful info rather than useless shit. Its not that hard, dont go into your FRONT YARD and take pics. And there the ones wining? Stop being a pussy and do it.

Re: Team Uniforms
See, I was actually seriously considering doing what you guys asked until Brandt chimed in and screwed all you guys. Here's your "ABU in woodland setting" picture:
OMG SO EFFECTIVE
