Grey Fox is recruiting!

A team called Grey Fox, all serious MilSim enthusiasts like myself, will be recruiting possible new players at Deadfest 2. I am applying as an applicant. If this works out, I will do my best to bring the outstanding members of LRU along with me. PM me with more questions. My team leader status will still be in effect, and we will still have practices, however, I will be attending more games/ practices with Grey Fox, if this works out. Please don't be angry, as I am simply doing this to try and advance myself in the sport, with a highly dedicated MilSim oriented team. Like I said, those that I consider to have shown a form of the aptitude will be recommended as well.

could you possibly ask at deadfest if theyt will have any other recruiting times? i know a couple people that would be interested.

If you know them, and I don't, they wouldn't be interested. No offense, but these guys are in their 30's, and are way passed springers and LPEGs. You NEED to have a full kit, extra gun, primary that cost >$200, pistol, mulitple uniforms, a ride, tactical knoledge, and have standing in the NTA community. If you meet these requirements, you also have to be smart, outgoing, a good leader and able to follow orders as well, and have total dedication to the sport. They are kinda like our team, except 10x more motivated.

Saying you need full gear, extra primary, sidearm, any uniform at all and standing in NTA to join LRU is like saying you need a key to get through a door - Yea, but you could also use a friend who can lockpick...

Not quite sure I understand your analogy. However, when I listed those requirements, I was talking about those being necessary to join Grey Fox, not LRU.

My point was, yes, technically LRU requirements state you need those things but if you're friends with Wyat Earp you can get on the team just as easily..

That's a good point Sean. Those are the requirements, but if I enforced them, we wouldn't have any players left. I feel that Grey Fox would be a nice MilSim step up from LRU.

Those are not listed requirements, however, a team of that stature does not need to post them, they are taken for granted.

i was always told not to take anything for granted. in airsoft you may take for granted that a certain area cleared moments before is still clear, but maybe its not and then you die a long painful death.

WTF? Dude, you seriously need to come out to an Op. No offense, but enough with the excuses. Go to something for crying out loud. Even if you have a high post count on forums, people will know you're full of hot air if you haven't been to any Op's. Don't become another AirsoftBoy.

wow you really cant pull off an evil laugh online it just doesnt have the same effect. ive already told you. i want to play. i want to get real heavy into this. i come to whatever games i can. i am coming to the sniper training. i will try to make the july DFWAP game but dont know since its on july 4th my parents may not let me.

Wyat, I understand your position as team leader and desire to assert yourself as such. However, you need to tone it down a little bit - we dress up like army men and shoot bits of plastic at each other. This is by no means a 100% serious sport. Step back and laugh a little, yeah?

Tyler, I appreciate your situation and know that things that come up can sometimes not be avoided and have to occasionally be dealt with in a manner that does not always please everyone. As the saying goes, "A good compromise leaves everyone unhappy".


If you two can't learn to tolerate each other I'm going to pull a TEF and kick you both off the team. Sean out.
