eBay guns?

Hello everyone, My name is Charles, I am thinking of getting a gun from either eBay or gunbroker.com. Now before you jump to any conclusions I have been on eBay since 2002. And am more then knowledgeable enough to not buy a inferior gun. Still I would like to know what your favorite airsoft gun is, favorite makers and after market parts. I have built air gun systems before and am tempted to build my own airsoft gun from scratch. I am also looking for an air soft Glock 21 or 22 as it will fit in my holster for my pistol. I may also just get a similarity size pistol and make a new body for it copying my CZ40B. I am experienced in machining, casting, ceramics, and composites(fiberglass & carbon). I am tempted to buy a cheep gun, less than $50, then re-engineering it to 400fps and increase its reliability ie. all aluminum components. All suggestions are welcome.

Hey Charles its Jared, If you do what I do I buy about $90-$150 guns and then upgrade them from there. We could definately build a new gearbox but with all of the other parts that we would have to upgrade it would be a huge pain lol, any gun under $50 unless you buy it from a boneyard and fix it up (which is what I would do) will have a plastic gearbox and externals. The more expensive ones are metal and can actually take the stresses and torque from the high power RC motor that you will need to run the 400 fps gearbox. I've seen motors rip apart plastic guns before lol. If you get a regular gearbox you could put ball bearing bushings and aluminum or composite internals plus a higher fps spring in it and have a rockin' gun. Im about to upgrade my M16 if you want to come over and check out what some of the upgrades and internals look like. And we could go from there and overall I have about 15 guns so you could browse them and shoot them and see what you like and dont like. Just let me know what you wanna do and I'll be more than happy to help and I know a lot of good websites to get guns cheap.

i am a personal fane of cho 1. good quality at a reasonable price. now as far as the glock you want, it may be a little difficult to find one due to some licensing issues with glock, production has almost ceased.

I bought one of the well p90s for $15 Yes i know its a piece of junk. I also have something else on the way. I don't know if it will get here in time for this weekends game. I am very hopeful, its already in college station and has complete most of its journey but we will have to see i also started making a combat mask... this first ones not going to look great but after a few tries i might have something decent. Also is anyone interested in the army of two masks? if i make one i can make a dozen

not today i have to take a kitten to grandbury
i put a battery in the mp40 and it did not do anything i'm going to have to trouble shoot the electrical and see if i can find the fault, i will also add a new knob for the slide that covers the hop up im going to pick up some pellets tonight also and test all all the guns tomorrow afternoon to verify there condition and sight them in, i'm actually quite pleased with the p90 and my use it this weekend if still looks good after i examine it.

one ak47 has a stripped/spun gear motor free spins other two are working perfect now since i stripped a few small parts to complete them from the one with the bad gear
the mp40 works and fires shoots well i need a clip(i manually feed it upside down to test)
P90 works ok clip will only let about 50 rounds out before it needs to be rewound

two of the pistols are working two seam to jam easily

What are we restricted to US/Coalition guns on or side or will an ak47/mp40 be acceptable? for the Grandbury game this weekend?

Any guns will work for this one, The AK's will do nicely for a main weapon as amanda and some others will be using them too.

I will sight them in tomorrow the mp40 is very nice weight and i think the p90s clip will be the biggest issue for use and i'm going to see what i can do about getting it to cycle pellets more consistently I'm going to take the ak with the stripped gear apart next week and see what i need to salvage it.

hey does anyone know if the JG UFC M16 is a good gun, i have looked on-line, but cant find any comments or ratings on it.
