Airsoft Tech Empty Airsoft Tech

Post by Nathan Thu Jan 29, 2009 5:16 pm

well there comes a time in every little airsoft team from a small towns life to find and recruit a potential airsoft tech guy

who ever believes they have the most experience with working internally on gearboxes (particularly version 2 and 7) should post on here that they would like to be the teams tech dude.

NOTE:no money will ever be made by fixing your team mates guns. you should want to take this position for the sheer joy of tinkering with guns

but if the person wants you to do an extra nice job ect. you could donate bb's or cash(what ever you see fit)

jonathan is the person that comes to mind in my opinion

but if you think your more experienced in this field, then please post

I plan to pick up a few more items (namely, a Torx wrench, grease, and shims) fairly soon and start working on gearboxes. I vote Sean for team tech.

PS. We could always have more than one...

I figure that the tech should be able to upgrade/fix their own gun before they get their hands on anyone elses. I like the idea of having like a tech for during game play and we need a fix, but for now, I'll be going to Eightball to upgrade my gun with a 120 for example. Howver, at this moment, I vote Jonathan because he does have the most experience with taking down guns, but not really fixing them. Sean is right in the fact that we can have two, but I think Nathan is afraid that the role will lose it's elite need if you have more then one guy performing the role. Also, we have to talk to Jon before we nominate him, and since he's never on the forums, that may prove difficult to have a discussion. However, in the nature of fixing things, does anyone know if a 20 AMP fuse box is standard for airsoft guns? If so, where do you buy it?
