This guy in the video is the biggest redneck dumbass I've ever seen... but he has a pretty damn good tutorial. We could alter his instructions a little bit, mainly with the crooked nails. He's covered all saftey hazards, I believe that we should use Cable wire (Not the stuff connected to the TV) Its extreemly strong, and cheap. Overall the list of materials contains...

Victor MouseTrap
1' of cable wire
Huge Nails
Staples/Smaller nails
Duct Tape/ Strong Netting
FishingWire

If you have any saftey Concerns... Ask

I'm going to go ahead and once again say that anything involving nails, explosions and duct tape sounds unsafe.

yea, you could do that, but thats where we could alter his directions, keep in mind he is a redneck, he uses ducttape for everything. We could use some strong netting, not to hard to get at hunting, or fishing stores. There is no explosion in this project, so there is still no fault, the spring has a really good saftey wire. For the nails, we could use just a steel rod, it doesnt need to have a sharp tip, just something it can stick into the ground with... Anymore questions?

Well said. I think Sean's concern was that the nail might go into your foot, however, this could into happen because it will be in the ground. Good job Brandt.

No. Crap happens in the mail all the time. That's why I buy local. We will start making these devices as soon as everyone has tactical gear, weapons and the appropriate team uniform. Keep the ideas coming though because soon, our goal we be met and we can make your ideas a reality.

YES!!! Best idea you've had in a long time. Team trip to the Army Store and the Lewisville store over spring break. We're doing it. I can pull camera-man duty for the video btw.

IT'S "SEAN"!!! Very Happy. My parents have a nice camera I could probably borrow, I've had issues with it and getting video from it to my computer, but my brother does a lot of video work and I'm sure he wouldn't mind helping me out. I also have a tripod we could use.
